2. Statement of Accounts

The Treasurer presented the Balance Sheet for 2005 and copies were available for those present.  Nigel Walker proposed that the Balance Sheet be accepted, this was seconded by Brenda Bewley and carried unanimously.

3. Any Other Business

No correspondence was received so the format for the various competitions was discussed.  Basically, there will be no change from last year.  The Winter League, West Cheshire Shield and Northgate Cup competitions will all be for teams of 8 players.  In the event a team does not have 8 players available, a maximum of two players will be allowed to play again.  Thus, if a team has only 6 players available then 2 will be allowed to play again.  If a team has 7 players then 1 person can play again.  The player/s to play again will be decided by the opposing captain drawing lots.

For the Five-A-Side competition, in the event of a team only having 4 players available then 1 player will be allowed to play again, this will be decided by the opposing captain drawing lots.

Signing On sheets will be distributed to teams currently competing and in addition, invitations will be sent to the Home Guard Club, Saltney Social Club and United Services Club and it is hoped they can participate in the forthcoming season.  The Winter League will start on Wednesday 26th October and fixtures will be published as soon as it is known how many teams have entered.

There being no other business, the chairman thanked everyone for attending and closed the meeting at 8.40pm.
